There isn't a single diet or program that fits all, so I offer several program options. Each option represents a different path to health and vitality. No matter what path you choose, I will provide complete personalized support. Each program is customized based on your individual health and fitness goals and the day-to-day realities of your life.  As your coach, I support you in finding your own unique path to optimal health and wellness.

If your nutrition and fitness routine needs an upgrade, why pay to see two separate professionals and schedule multiple meetings in your busy schedule when you can do it all at once.  At Compleat Fitness I integrate nutrition and fitness together to save you time and money.

Personal Training


Personal Training


Each personal training package begins with a comprehensive fitness evaluation. By gathering information on your health history and current level of conditioning, I am able to develop a personalized training program tailored to meet your fitness goals. You will receive a full assessment including posture, flexibility, muscular endurance, cardiovascular fitness and body composition. With these tests I will track your progress toward meeting your fitness goals. My training programs involve a unique mixture of strength training, cardiovascular development, flexibility training, and personal coaching.

Specifics

My training specialties include: strength training, injury prevention, sport-specific training, marathon training, triathlon training, pre and post-natal programs, eating correctly for your fitness goals, functional training, and stretching.

Where can training sessions be held? If you reside in the Sherman Oaks area, training sessions can be held in your home or the beautiful outdoor gym setting at my. I also offer virtual training programs we use video for a live session.

My programs are dedicated to coaching runners and triathletes to accomplish their athletic goals while managing a balanced life of training, work, family, and other interests. My focus is primarily on real world athletes, often people new to endurance sports.

As with all my services, as a triathlete or endurance athlete you will receive a personalized training program to fit your schedule and lifestyle needs. My programs are designed to help you train effectively, efficiently, and safely to improve your fitness and performance.

Specifics of Private Coaching

Athletes choose Compleat Fitness for the one-on-one personal service and devotion to the whole person, not just the athlete within. I believe an athlete should be able to talk to their coach whenever needed and should meet at least once a week so appropriate monitoring and adjusting of training can be made. Because I work exclusively with local (Los Angeles) athletes I am able to guide you through every aspect of triathlon, often attending races with you.

It all begins with:

  • An in person consultation upon completion of a detailed questionnaire to review your experience, background and general goals.

  • Completion of a food log and discussion of dietary changes you can make now.

  • Review of your lifestyle and how triathlon fits.

  • Assessments that may include posture, flexibility, strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular fitness and body composition.

  • With all this information we set short and long-term goals regarding lifestyle, diet, energy, overall health and fitness, strength, and competition.

What training looks like:

  • Weekly or bi-weekly in-person training often utilizing a home gym or outdoors.

  • Regular nutrition discussions during training sessions.

  • Detailed, periodized, custom on line training plan with daily workouts through a complimentary training peaks account .

  • Mobile access to your plan via the training peaks app.

  • Open water swim sessions or swim coaching from your pool.

  • Field tests to benchmark progress and set individualized training zones.

  • Unlimited email and phone access.

Many nutrition programs offer one-size fits all recommendations and expect you to figure out a way to make it work. During our program, you will learn the benefits of eating whole organic foods, reducing the consumption of chemicals and artificial ingredients, and identifying what foods, activities and lifestyle adjustments work best for your body. Where are health and nutrition counseling sessions held?

The beauty of health and nutrition counseling is that sessions can be held in-person or over the phone. If you live or work in Sherman Oaks, sessions can be held in-person, in your office, home or public venue.  If you live in greater Los Angeles, long-distance or would prefer the convenience of virtual coaching your your sessions will occur as phone or video meetings.
